A bottle of personalised spice tree whisky is sure to make an excellent impression when you’ve got a special occasion to celebrate. This whisky is a revival of an older blended scotch whisky from the Compass Box. The original used a method of oak-aging which proved impracticable, but thanks to collaboration between French and Scottish producers, the classic Spice Tree flavour profile has been granted an entirely-new lease of life.
The new method employs custom-made casks, which use French oak for the heads and American oak for the bodies. The result is an intense malt whisky that’s brimming with baking spices, and packed with accents of toasty oak. If you’re a fan of the intense and spicy blended whiskies, then a bottle of Spice Tree is sure to go down excellently.
And if you’d like to make your bottle that little bit more special, you’ll find few better ways of doing so than with the help of a special laser-engraving. Just let us know the message you’d like to have etched in the glass, and we’ll ensure it’s a memento that’ll last for years to come!
Tasting Notes
The nose is filled with the aromas of dried herbs, spices and vanilla. There’s a peppery tang in evidence as the palate arrives, with toffee spices and gingernut biscuits making themselves known. The finish is big, spicy and rich!
