This producer came about after George Ballantine began experimenting with blending tea from a young age, and only later in life moved to malts. This transition has been a welcome one as far as the world’s quality whiskies are concerned – and you’ll find evidence of that inside this bottle here! Ballantine’s Finest is the oldest recipe in the producer’s current range, being first created back in 1910 by the Ballantine family. It contains more than forty different malt and grain whiskys, sourced from four different regions of Scotland. Tasting Notes
The nose is soft and elegant, with notes of spicy honey and heather, while in the body you’ll find subtle milk chocolate, vanilla and red apple flavours.
