This particular sort of vodka owes its distinctive flavour to the blade of Hierochloe Odorata grass that is found inside every bottle. The practice of flavouring a spirit in this way dates all the way back to the fourteenth century. The grass owes its nickname of Bison Grass to the area where it grows in the Bialowieza forest bordering the Ukraine, where the Polish Bison roams (although the bison itself does not actually eat the grass in question.)

Tasting Notes
