What better way could there be to mark a truly special occasion than with a personalised bottle of Auchentoshan? This release replaces the company’s previous 10-year-old staple, being launched to coincide with the distillery’s 2011 rebrand. It’s been triple distilled to sift out those impurities, before being matured for twelve years in special casks which once held bourbon, sherry and fine wine.
Over the years, the wood and the spirit work together to create a drink that’s stunningly complex and well-balanced. To be called Single Malt Scotch whisky, a minimum of three year’s maturation is required - a target which this whisky far surpasses.
Your bottle of Auchentoshan will be even more special with the help of our laser-engraving service. We’ll carve any message you like into the glass using laser-engraving equipment that’ll do its work without influencing the taste of the whisky inside the glass!
Tasting Notes
You’ll get cereals and exotic fruit in the nose, while subtler tannin flavours creep into the palate, with a little bit of sweet barley and vanilla coming in for the finish, which is very long and dry.
