The distillery has brought its considerable experience to bear in making this scotch, which combines rare sorts of long-matured Balvenie scotch with port casks which once held fine ports.
This scotch is, for many connoisseurs, among the finest drinks that the company has yet produced. It was first released in 1996, and has since then earned an array of awards. It’s regularly sampled by the Malt Master over at Balvenie, David C. Stewart MBE. He takes particular care to ensure that the right character is imparted by the port casks, while still preserving the essential qualities of the scotch.

Tasting Notes
This scotch opens with a nose that’s packed with ripe raisins and nutty dryness. The texture of the palate is creamy and silky, offering notes of spiced fruit and honey. The finish is long and slightly nutty.
