It’ll make a unique and treasured keepsake long after the last of the scotch inside has been finished. Hedonism is slightly rare in the world of scotch whiskey – it’s a blended grain. A hundred years ago, these sorts of whiskeys were relatively commonplace. But since then, they’ve been overtaken by blended scotches, which brought together both grain and malt whiskies.
Thus, most of the grain whiskies in Scotland today find their way into one of the bigger brands of blended scotch. In the case of Hedonism, however, carefully-selected casks of the right flavour profile are brought together to create a drink that really displays the strength of what grain whiskey can do.
Tasting Notes
Hedonism is packed with elegant vanilla cream flavours, along with sweet coconut and toffee flavours. The aging process also lends it a subtle oaky quality.
