Hennessy is a name that's helped to push quality cognacs forward since the beginning of the 18th century. It was Maurice Hennessy, great-grandson of the company's founder Richard, who first composed a system for classifying cognac, and that system is still widely in used today.
Hennessy's XO (Extra Old) cognac is designed to take the drinker on a journey through taste - and after the drink itself has been finished, the customised bottle will remain to provide an enduring memento of that journey.
