The front of the bottle bears the ancient Celtic symbol for beginnings, because this is a whisky which goes right back to the first produced under the Jura brand.
This whisky has been initially been aged in American white oak bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks. This heritage is what helps to imbue the whisky with those distinctively sweet, complex flavours as it goes through maturation.

Tasting Notes
You'll get the nuances of white oak in the nose, with a smooth, sweet honeyed barley and fragrant wood flavour developing in the palate, alongside a lingering warmth of smoke which persists until the finish.
