This classic formula is crafted in the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in much the same way that it has been since the company was first founded in 1875. In each glass, you’ll find those instantly-recognisable Jack Daniels flavours – the No. 7 recipe has proven popular across the world for more than a century, and the formula is a winning one.
Jack Daniels is distilled in copper stills from a combination of grains, including corn, rye and malted barley. It’s then filtered through three metres of sugar-maple charcoal, in a process which the company describes as ‘mellowing’. The result is a drink that we all know and love – and it’s even tastier with the help of a custom laser-engraving. Simply let us know what you’d like your message to be, and we’ll get to etching it into the side of the glass. What could be simpler?
Tasting Notes
The nose is rich and complex, and packed with sour raisins and resin. The palate provides a little chocolate, perfumed wood and cinnamon, with abundant banana flavours. You’ll get just a touch of char throughout the body and finish.
