Each bottle of yellow-label is the product of more than 50 different crus. Traditionally, these are balanced at just over half pinot noir, with the remainder being made up of Meunier and Chardonnay. The exact proportions vary from year to year, according to the harvest. It’s the job of the cellar master, Dominique Demarville, to balance these flavours and achieve the consistency that’s so instantly identifiable as Veuve Clicquot.

Tasting Notes
This champagne is golden-yellow, with a bouquet of finely-tuned fruitiness and toasty aromas that give way to a fresh, forceful sharpness in the palate. Refreshing, deep and complex, as you’d expect from a premium champagne.
