It's been awarded gold at the International Whisky Competition in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and so its flavour credentials are undeniable!
This is the original'house style' Penderyn whiskey, which has been aged in ex-bourbon barrels. But this version has been transferred to ex-Madeira casks for the final stages of maturation, which helps to emphasise the sweeter, golden characteristics. It's been bottled at 46% ABV, and packs a real flavour punch!

Tasting Notes
There's a freshness to the nose, with toffee, rich fruit and raisins all present. The palate is crisp and rounded, with a balance of sweet tropical fruit, raisins and vanilla that persists into the finish.
