The Angostura 1824 blend has been around for almost two centuries and the recipe has remained largely unchanged throughout that time. Each bottle is aged for at least twelve years in oak bourbon barrels before being hand-drawn and hand-blended.
Rums like this boast a powerful flavour that speaks for itself. And once It is finished, the bottle will make a treasured memento of the gift for years to come. It can be enjoyed as part of a blend, alone, or alongside a choice cigar.
Tasting Notes
This is a particularly subtle blend, which skilfully brings together the flavours of disparate rums. It offers a creamy palate, packed with the sweet flavours of honey and vanilla.
