Blackwoods Gin is inspired by the landscape of the Shetland Islands. Each year, the Blackwoods team waits for the opportune moment to harvest their botanical. Being a smaller manufacturer, Blackwoods botanical vary slightly each year due to small changes in the climate. This means that different vintages are distinct from one another in the same way that different wine vintages are.

The botanicals are steeped in mineral water before being distilled in small batches using a copper still the same sort that has been used for centuries to create the worlds best gins. The formula has accumulated a wealth of gold medals over the years, beating out many better-known brands in the process.
Tasting Notes
A glass of Blackwoods commences with a powerfully citrusy nose, which gives way to gentler floral notes in the palate. It is smooth and crisp, and can be enjoyed either neat or with tonic water.
