To mark a special occasion in style, you’ll want a scotch as spectacular as a personalised Dalwhinnie 15-year old. With our laser-engraving service, we’ll be able to put an extra touch of customisation onto your bottle, thereby ensuring that whoever drinks it will remember just who to thank!
The Dalwhinnie distillery can be found nestled in the Scottish Highlands, in the middle of the Cairngorm National Park, near the village of Dalwhinnie. It’s classed as a Highland malt whisky, though some might argue it’s a Speyside malt, as the source that feeds it is a tributary of the river Spey.
This drink makes for a great introduction to single-malt scotch. It tends more toward the lighter and fruiter side of things, with a medium body and a complex, yet accessible, blend of clean and crisp flavours. It’s able to compete with scotches costing far more!
The nose is aromatic, with hints of toffee and fruit salad leading into a malty body. Walnuts, vanilla and manuka honey sit alongside a weave of smoke and spice. The finish is warming and malty.
