If you’re looking to mark a special occasion, then what better way could there be to do it than with the help of a personalised bottle of Laphroaig select? This drink draws its name from the combination of American and European casks it’s been matured in, which are selected for the character they lend to the whisky while it’s resting.
Inspired by the work of Ian Hunter, who was the last member of the family to own the distillery, Laphroaig have brought together American white-oak casks, bourbon casks, Sherry butts and Quarter casks. This variety helps to create a raft of different whiskys, the best of which are selected to become Laphroaig’s ‘select’ scotch.

Tasting Notes
The nose is peaty, with ripe red fruits, oak and marzipan flavours all being imparted from the various casks. The palate is full-bodied and sweet, with a finish that’s rich in deep fruit flavours.
