This blend, like all of the Zacapa range, is crafted in Guatemala at 2300 metres above sea level. It comprises rums of a variety of sources, with the oldest being 23 years old. These rums are blended and aged in a sequence of barrels that were once used to hold whiskeys, sherries and wines. This process is known as Sistema Solera, and it produces a rum that is light and golden in colour, and packed with flavour.
Tasting Notes
The body is wonderfully complex, with a sweet honey texture that is not often found in spirits this mature. you will find notes of oak, nutmeg, leather and tobacco hidden amidst those of sweet vanilla and spicy cinnamon.
