William chase gin is distilled according to a method that is quite distinct from the one ordinarily employed by gin-makers. First, cider apples from the company's three-hundred-year-old orchards are pressed, and the resulting juice is fermented to form quality cider, and then distilled into apple vodka. To this is added a range of botanicals, including hops, elderflower, juniper and angelica and fresh water sourced directly from the aquifer running beneath the orchard.
The result is a drink that is utterly unique but which can be made even more so when packaged into a unique bottle.
Tasting Notes
you will get a nose that is packed with fresh juniper aromas, alongside those of fresh citrus fruit and spices. The palate introduces earthy undertones and green fruit, and leads to a finish that is full-bodied, complex and well-balanced.
