A personalised bottle of Ardbeg Corryvreckan is sure to make a great gift for the scotch-lover in your life. The whisky is named after a whirlpool which you’ll find just off the coast of Islay, where some of the world’s most prestigious scotch is created. It’s the home of the Ardbeg brewery, and has been for more than two centuries.
Ardbeg make a point of using the smokiest (or most phenolic) malt available, which is peated to around 50ppm. Of course, a quality scotch requires quality water. The water in question here is sourced from Loch Uigeadail, around three miles uphill from the distillery.
Using our special laser-engraving hardware, we’ll be able to make your bottle all the more unique. Once we’re done etching a custom message into your gift, it’ll make a fantastic match with the quality scotch inside!
Tasting Notes
This powerful scotch is deep amber in colour. The nose packs a powerful punch, while the palate is intense, with peppery steak and tarry espresso sitting alongside dark fruity flavours, and those of bitter almonds. It’s complex and satisfying!
