Baileys began life in Dublin in 1974, when alcohol pioneer David Dand tired of the ordinary liqueurs commonly available, and sought to create something extraordinary. Something that was sweet and luxuriant, and made no apology for it. Baileys brings together the finest blend of Irish whiskey with the richest dairy cream available. Getting the two to combine without separating proved tricky but with the help of an ordinary kitchen blender, it proved possible. The results speak for themselves; the drink has found fame the world over.
