A personalised bottle of Bacardi 8-year-old rum will make a fine gift for a special occasion. Like all bottles of Bacardi, it bears the distinctive bat logo, which came to be after Dona Amalia Bacardi spotted fruit bats nesting in the family’s distillery in Cuba, and associated them with good fortune. The association has proven a happy one, with this delicious rum now enjoyed in bars across the world! In this version of the family product, however, we find something that’s a little more refined.
This 8-year-old rum is Bacardi’s premium release, created by blending rums aged for between eight and sixteen years. It’s golden in colour, with a mature flavour that deserves to be savoured. To make your bottle truly unique, you’ll want to use our laser-engraving service. We’ll inscribe any message you like onto the glass, ensuring that your bottle lasts as a memento for years to come!
Tasting Notes
You’ll find a blast of invigorating freshness in the nose, with notes of oak and peels mingling with syrup and fennel. The palate is sweet and rich in tropical fruit in spice, while the finish is gentle and lush.
